The „U Stolëma” Recreation Center offers relaxation for the body and peace for the mind. Lack of sleep, stressful situations, polluted air, and poor diet – all of these factors negatively affect human health. A visit to our SPA area in Kashubia will help eliminate the effects of exhaustion, detoxify the body, improve circulation, and ensure relaxation. We offer excellent leisure activities for those who enjoy staying active, as well as for those who dream of indulging in sweet idleness. In our Spa & Wellness section, you can use the following facilities:
- Dry sauna,
- Infrared sauna,
- Steam bath,
- Jacuzzi,
- Relaxation massages,
- Wellness treatments,
- Salt cave,
- Gym.
Dry Sauna The SPA area is designed for up to 8 people. It effectively cleanses the body of toxins and helps shed unnecessary pounds. During one visit, you can lose about 300 calories! Regular sauna use also improves heart function, regulates blood pressure, and enhances circulation. It is also an excellent way to toughen the body – regular visits strengthen the immune system. To fully enjoy your stay at our facility, there are a few rules to remember. Avoid using the sauna on a full stomach or after consuming alcohol. Before entering, take a shower and dry your skin and hair thoroughly. Stay inside for 8-15 minutes. Afterward, take a cold shower and repeat the process. Depending on your body’s adjustment, you can repeat this procedure 1-3 times. After the session, be sure to hydrate properly.
Steam Bath The steam bath has high humidity (close to 100%) and relatively low temperatures reaching 50°C. A steam generator is used to produce the steam. The steam bath acts as a shower, opening pores and facilitating easier breathing. Just like the sauna, it induces sweating, which is essential for the proper functioning of the skin. Sweat contains urea, which is also found in urine, making it beneficial for the body to sweat out toxins and other impurities.
Infrared Sauna The infrared sauna is nothing more than an infrared sauna. The sauna cabin is made of natural wood, just like in a traditional sauna, but its therapeutic effect is related to infrared rays and the heat energy they produce. These rays penetrate the body (to a depth of about 3-4 cm), which allows them to quickly, effectively, and directly affect the entire body. In an infrared sauna, the temperature does not need to be as high as in a traditional sauna – a range of 30-40°C is sufficient to experience its health benefits. This provides an additional advantage – both children and older people can use it, of course, as long as there are no clear medical contraindications.
Jacuzzi The jacuzzi is designed for 5 people. It has gained popularity due to its beneficial effects on the body. A 10-15 minute bath in warm water with bubbles effectively relieves stress and promotes relaxation. It also positively affects blood circulation, relaxes muscles, warms up joints, improves skin condition, and speeds up metabolism. Such baths are particularly recommended for people who experience fatigue, stress, back and muscle pain, suffer from low blood pressure, have skin problems, cellulite, overweight, or an impaired metabolism. A visit to the jacuzzi is also recommended after using the sauna. The bath should not last longer than 15 minutes, as prolonged exposure to warm water puts excessive strain on the circulatory system and dries out the skin.
